The Mansfield Roller Mill (Parke County) contains the original 1880’s roller process equipment on the upper floors. Today, the mill grinds corn meal and flour using an 85 horsepower Rodney Hunt turbine installed in 1886. A second 65 horsepower Lefel turbine was installed in 1892. Mansfield’s unique shop and state historic site are open weekends in April through October. Villlage events include the Mushroom Festival the third Saturday in June, Gospel Sing the third Saturday in July, Parks County Covered Bridge Festival in October and an Old Fashioned Christmas the first weekend in December.
